Michael Kelly is the Managing Director of Glandore, Ireland’s leading provider of flexible workspace with nine properties across Belfast, Dublin and Cork. A family-run business founded by Michael in 2001, he now runs the company alongside his three daughters. His focus has always been in supporting businesses throughout all of their various stages of growth and development. Glandore has been providing flexible workspace for 18 years, having helped many of the world’s leading companies to internationalize and expand in Ireland.

Councillor Donal Lyons, Chair of City Growth & Regeneration, Belfast City Council; Host

Donal Lyons is a Dublin native and a UCD Science graduate who has lived in South Belfast since 2006. Donal is a member of the City Growth and Regeneration Committee and the People and Communities Committee of Belfast City Council. Donal is also on the board of the South Belfast Partnership Board, is a member of Amnesty International, the National Union of Journalists, the Drumglass Wind Energy Co-operative and the Boundary Brewing Cooperative.

Donal was previously employed by the Irish Labour Party and Tanaiste Eamon Gilmore and has worked in the field of public policy and law reform and as an SDLP activist since moving to Belfast.

Suzanne Wylie, Chief Executive, Belfast City Council; Keynote

Since taking up the post Suzanne has been leading the Council’s new City Plan, the Belfast Agenda 2035, which is focused on economic growth and connecting neighbourhoods and people to the opportunities it creates.  Suzanne is also driving forward the Council’s £400m Investment Programme, in the city centre and neighbourhoods, to establish Belfast at the heart of economic growth in the region.

Suzanne has worked for Belfast City Council for 28 years and previously held the position of Director of Health and Environmental Services from 2010, and she is focused on positioning the City Council as a key driver in the continued growth of Belfast.

Paul Nunan, MD, Link Funds Solutions Ireland

Paul Nunan is Managing Director, Link Funds Solutions Ireland. He is an experienced board level financial services professional with over 22 years working in the Investment Funds industry, predominantly in client facing roles, supporting multinational investment management firms and large financial services organisations. For the last 13 years Paul has been responsible for establishing, growing and managing the day to day running of Link’s funds business in Ireland which comprises two regulated Irish domiciled companies currently managing in excess of €22 bn in assets.

Stuart Harvey, CEO, Datactics

CEO since 2015, Stuart was a technical architect with Reuters before co-founding Fintech company Harco, that sold to NYSE after winning 30+ global banks for its DART entitlement technology. Stuart has subsequently invested in several tech start-ups including PathXL (which was acquired by Philips in 2016) before he joined Datactics and helped guide its direction more firmly into banking and finance, specifically in the areas of data quality measurement and regulatory compliance.

In the past 18 months Datactics has won significant clients in the financial services industry and conducted several major long-term projects with global information providers.

Simon Osborn, CEO, IFI Global

Simon Osborn is CEO and Editor in Chief of IFI Global Ltd.  IFI Global is a fund management research and media business, based in the City of London, focusing primarily on the alternative side of the industry. IFI Global publishes The NED, a monthly publication on fund governance, ADI, which focuses on domiciliation, fund servicing and tax matters and The Tracker which follows the effect of regulatory change on the asset management business. The Tracker also focuses on the impact of Brexit on the industry. IFI Global also undertakes research studies and hosts events on matters related to fund governance, domiciliation and structural change in the alternative fund industry.

Prior to launching IFI Global Simon was an Associate Director of the International Herald Tribune (IHT), based in Paris, where he was responsible for the development of the IHT’s asset management coverage. Before joining the IHT he was with HZI International, a media consultancy that specialised in advising and investing in business, financial and medical publications in the developing world. Simon divides his time between the UK and the US.
